Kim will use exercises from this popular
book to inspire and guide you to a life that
reflects your passions and individual
expression. Please wear comfortable
clothing, and bring a journal or notebook.

class, but it will make your life more

Kim's 12-week workshops based
on Julia Cameron's life-changing book, The
Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher
Creativity, take each spring
and fall in Arlington, MA. The next round of
workshops begin in March 2012 and take place
on Tuesday or Thursday nights from 7-9pm, with
an additional midday group to be determined.
There is easy bus access and plenty of street
parking. The course fee is $440 (with a 10%
discount if you sign up by March 1), and
deposits of $100 are required to hold your

Have you ever been so moved by your yoga
practice that you wanted to write about it?
Could you use some help moving words out of
your head and onto the page? If so, join
Kripalu yoga teacher and creativity coach Kim
Childs and "Write It Like It Is" facilitator Deborah
Sosin for an afternoon workshop designed
to let your body's wisdom inspire your
self-expression. Kim will guide you through
some easy warm-ups before leading a few
classic yoga postures. Deborah will lead
writing exercises to help you express the
essence of the poses as you experience them.
You'll be invited to share your writing, if
desired. Dress for a gentle yoga practice and
bring a favorite journal or notebook if
you have one.
Mindful Eating Workshop -

The practice of mindful eating leads to
greater energy, better sleep, improved
digestion, mental clarity and ideal weight
maintenance. You'll explore your
relationship to food, discover how and why
you may eat unconsciously, and learn ways
to truly nourish yourself. The workshop
also includes some easy stretching and
breathing exercises to tune in to your
body's wisdom, some sharing and
discussion, and an experience of conscious
eating. Wear comfortable clothes and bring
a journal or notebook. (Note: This is not
a nutrition class, and we will not serve a
meal during the workshop, so please plan
your meals around it. Suggestion:
Experiment with eating half the amount you
usually consume for lunch that day).

KRIPALU
YOGA CLASSES
If you'd like to
offer gentle Kripalu Yoga classes at your
workplace, school, institution or assisted
living center, please contact Kim. Private
sessions may also be arranged.
CONCERTS
No
concerts are presently scheduled, but Kim
has performed with the Boston Community
Choir and the Mystic Chorale. You can,
